Jack is in the final year of his Sport and Exercise Medicine Physician specialty training.
He holds current roles as a Tour Doctor for the Australia A and Australian Men’s Cricket Teams, and in 2026 is the Campaign Doctor for the Australian Swimming Team at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Jack has broad experience in sports medicine, having covered a range of sports at the elite level, and spent time at the Australian Institute of Sport, as well as in private practice settings in Canberra and Brisbane as part of his training.
This level of training and experience ensures you're seeing a sports doctor who truly understands how to provide elite level sports medical services to athletes and people of all skill levels across a wide range of sports, including you.
A GP referral is not required for a consultation with Jack. Acute musculoskeletal injuries and concussions can be see without referral. For chronic issues, a brief referral from your treating clinician is preferred to facilitate continuity of care.
In clinic, Jack sees a broad range of patients – including amateur and elite athletes, children and adolescents, and active middle-aged and older individuals.
Jack has clinical interests in the assessment and management of acute knee and shoulder injuries, bone stress injuries, particularly lumbar (pars) stress fractures, tendinopathy and concussion. He is passionate about using exercise to optimise outcomes for all patients, and works alongside GPs, specialists and allied health clinicians to provide comprehensive patient care.
Jack is skilled at interpreting diagnostic imaging (including X-rays, CT and MRI) and is able to provide ultrasound-guided injections where appropriate, including corticosteroid (cortisone), hyaluronic acid (eg. Durolane, Monovisc, Cingal) and platelet-rich plasma (PRP).
Outside of work, Jack enjoys keeping fit through strength training, running and cycling. He remains actively involved in community sport, and is a single figure handicap golfer. His sporting highlight is representing Australasia in Gaelic Football at the World Games in Ireland.
