What are the benefits of seeing a Pilates Instructor or a Physiotherapist for Pilates? |
Clinical Pilates Instructors are the gurus at using pilates based exercises to get your body moving as effectively and injury-proofed as possible. They just do pilates, so are experts in this field, and have the extra skillset on top of a generic group based class where everyone does the same thing. |
Physios with pilates training understand both injury and how to get you moving again, in a safe and progressed manner. They can assist you to make sure you don't over do it with a return from injury or surgery, but also make sure you're doing enough to actually progress. The only thing worse than over training is undertraining and not actually getting anywhere! |
